Killichronan Standing Stone

Killichronan lies at the head of Loch na Keal, 3.5 km west of Salen.  The standing stone, now almost prone, is situated 650 m north of Killichronan House, on a level shelf on the east bank of the Allt Coire Phollachie.  About 2.55 m in height, it is rectangular in section, 0.5 m by 0.3 m.

There are now no traces of two cists found in 1873 at distances of 330 m and 460 m east of Killichronan, and there are no details of their contents.
